can any give me any help

when driving my o6 plate vrs my seat belt warning light and bleeper keeps coming on and off.when i hav the seat belt on.

is it a common fault

can it be fixed

what do i need to do and what parts

Don't know the issue but I guess it be a faulty sensor.

I had a Kangoo for 12 years and almost since new the "faulty airbag" light went on and off, usually depending on bumps on the road.

The culprit was a sensor in the passenger seat, so I simply ignored it.

If yours is coming on and off, it could well be a badly connected wire/sensor.

I also have same problem and it is getting progressively worse. I found that I could shut it up by pushing my rolled jacket under the seat belt fastener but this is hardly a good way to resolve it. I can't see any way of getting into where a sensor might be and wonder can anyone out there please enlighten me. It doesn't do it when hubby drives (he is more generously built than me!) and it's driving me crackers. :(

You can stop it using VCDS, you can also short the connection under the seat - but make really sure you know what wires are what or you could get an airbag surprise.

That looks right, it would worth finding if anyone near you has VCDS who could scam the car for faults and maybe try coding it out though.

Woo Hoo!! It works. Plug out and taped over and now peace, perfect peace. Thank you folks :))

Hi all. I have exactly the same problem progressively over the last few weeks, and was about to go loopy but it looks like that might be a fix.... is it still working Mrs T?
