Where's Best Place To Get...

Where is best place to get:

Front upper strut brace

Whiteline RARB

PD160 intake

DPM performance for RARB and I think they can supply strut brace too.

For Sale section or eBay for PD160 intake.

Search/read up on the intake first, you might decide it's not required ;)

Honestly... The only one of these that will make a tangible difference is

the rarb. PD160 not really necessary unless you are after big power,

And strut brace will make the front end less compliant and crashy on bad roads

and potholes.

Will have a read a bit more about pd160, am planning to have a remap

So the strut makes it less responsive?

No, more responsive (slightly) but less comfortable on anything but the smoothest of

roads. And if you find a pot hole then the resulting crash will make it so you look

out for them and swerve around all over the place to avoid them in future.

As for the Pd160 pipe If you're going with a stage 1 map then that's fine but really

you have to be aiming for over 200bhp before you actually need one.

Even then its the topic of much debate on here. My advice is get one if you can

find a cheap 2nd hand one, but I wouldn't pay full price myself for a bit of

plastic you don't really need. I would spend extra dosh on the RARB instead and get

the Jabba one over the Whiteline.

I think we have more then enough people for a Whiteline RARB group buy now

Edited by Harry1212

Here's the price

I have just had confirmation from Awesome GTI would be willing to do these for £135 inc VAT and delivered to UK mainland if a group buy of 10 or more is secured. This is for the Whiteline BWR19Z bar.

Is see from this chat that there are already 6+ people interested.

The price drops to £130.00 delivered if 20 or more people want one.

Who's keen?

Don't know how to start a group buy. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
