I had to pay for metallic paint but no extra for that colour. It's a standard colour. :)

Ah ok, thank you. So, white and blue are the base colours right? My parents wanted a black one, so they had to spend approximately 200€ for that:/

Yes, the base colours are "free". I had to pay 3800 NOK for the paint. :)

Magnificent!

That blue is nice, think it's slightly lighter than the Race Blue that used to be reserved for VRS Skodas.

Yes it is lighter. It is even lighter irl. Like babyblue metallic! :)

That's denim blue?

I believe so, same colour some of the first demo cars were in.

The front fogs do add something to the appearance don't they? *thinks, checks CC balance*

Yes, quite a bit IMO.

Like most modern cars, they seem needlessly impractically large - but they do 'complete' the look and make it look like you don't own a poverty spec. After all, eet is all about ze flair, oui?

Wonder if I can get some fitted before the national meet. Might put the BlackVue plan on the back burner.

Personally I'd choose protection of my no claims over a bit of bling.

I bet as an after-fit they are not cheap either.

Grille, mountings, lamps, switch etc... £300+?

Assuming the wiring is there.

At least at the national meet you can do a side by side comparison. :)

That's a fair point. I could always say sod the consequences of the CC bill and just do both :D

Good stuff. I am thinking about one in the same spec and colour as a work runabout and it is good to see some irl pictures. Thanks for posting.
