Has anyone got ETKA so that they have a look which part number is suitable for my Octy?

Ok so I have managed to sort this out. It seems strange that Skoda parts dept didn't know which part was suppose to be the correct one. The guy that I spoke to had to confirm it and call me back. Eurocarparts was correct as well they can't look up VAG parts but they can look up manufactures parts and in this case it's Pierburg.

I have spoken to a guy from Poland and he pointed me in the right direction. What you need to do is to follow these steps:

Go to http://www.ms-motor-...ndex.asp?cls=02

On the left hand side menu click on Products and Catalogues

Then click on Electronic Catalogue

Now you will be prompted with a simple CAPTCHA and hit continue

After that click on Reference Number

Then you can type your original part number

In my case this was 038128063G

Once the part is found there is a INFO link on the left hand side click on it and this will open up a PDF file with the info on this part.

I have tried all the parts ending L and M and all of these point out to the same manufactures part which is as Eurocarparts confirmed is:

7.14393.26.0

So there you go part has been swapped tonight and after taking a ride in the car and leaving the engine off for about 15 minutes switching it back on again the engine light has gone off on it's own.

Dealer quoted me £358 after tax for this baby so that's a £158 saving. Thank you very much!

Hope this helps!

PS. The guy from Skoda said I didn't have an Intake Manifold Flap because I drive a diesel ....bloody shambles!
