So, a bus clipped my driver's side wing mirror off last night. It still functions as a mirror and the motor is fine but the glass and the complete housing is broken. Called all the local scrapyards and they don't have any in the same colour as mine (black), but might be able to get one in a different colour. Skoda want 30 odd quid for the parts, 30 odd quid for the glass and 60 quid to paint it.

Anyone know of anywhere I could get one of the same colour at a decent price?

it says your in yorkshire? email roberto on here he will have one and lives in manchester .... he did a thread yesterday called adaption codes asking about lc lol ... proper sound lad he will be able to sort you one out

I want to replace both of my casings ( i got 2 mirrors from scrappies.. wires hanging everywhere so no plug and play senario) but i cannot seem to get the casings off and of course i dont want to snap them..

2 torx (IIRC) screws underneath,

You also need to pull the glass out and there are some more screws behind.
