As the title suggests, I have been having problems with the driver's window switch of late.....will work one day and then not the next; only seems to affect the window switches (ie the central locking buttons still work) I have replaced the switch today and the same problem.....where should I be checking next?

Should say I have obviously checked the fuse, and the windows shut correctly when operated with the key from the driver's door lock

Have you tried getting some contact cleaner on the plug that goes into the switch? i would also be looking for possible breaks in the cable

I shall give it a try.....it's strange as one day it will work perfect and the next day nothing, other than a noise from the motor when you touch the window button, and then nothing.

Might be worth checking the connection in the door looms, mine started to corrode and caused problems with the windows, they would completely stop working and then a few days later they would be working fine again.

I have used contact cleaner but still no good; I have checked inside the door loom and the connections look fine....what should I be looking for and how did you resolve your problem?
