Red coil packs

Featured Replies

I see some cars with these what's the benefit?!?

And where u get em from?

If you are referring to 1.8t red coils. Only benefit is the colour. The 2.0 tfsi red coil packs are said to produce a stronger spark and maybe better when running a mapped car. You will also need adapters to fit 2.0 tfsi coils as they are taller.

Kristian at www.samtechperformance.co.uk can send red 2.0 tfsi coils. Mention briskoda for a deal.

They look good are they hard to change around any modding involved ? Will the coil pack clamp downs work on them still ?

Straight fit with adapters. As for clamp downs don't know as never used them

No clap downs won't unless you run longer bolts with

But with the spacers I supply the coils will never pop up ;-)

That just for coil packs? I quite like the clamp down things was gonna get a set and do them green :) but seen red coil packs now

think the coilpacks are around 90 and the adapters are around 50-60.

why are you changing yours? if they are ok, why not spend the 150 on something that will actually make a difference to you like a rear arb, or some polybushes?

Coil packs are £89 posted from www.samtechperformance.co.uk and adapters about £50 from Clive at Cntuning.
