What'll it take to get a piccie of my new turbo on the engine. Did notice the pipes go out a different direction to the vRS turbo, so hoping the FMIC pipework is designed to match.

Well, its a VNT17 for sure, but I did notice a garrett label on the controller. If the FMIC pipework doesn't match it, then.

The original turbo kind of has a pipe coming out toward the driver's side, then going out to the right & down. The new one has the same position inlet, but the outlet goes upward. Might check with Allard that they got it right. As long as the FMIC is designed to work with THIS turbo, then all's OK I guess? :confused:

The i/c pipe on the turbo (outlet) is 90 degrees different on the Fabia to the Golf type one as that points directly at the chassis leg if fitted (I know I did it myself).

Yeah, the old outlet did point at the chassis leg, but this one is proudly vertically erect... oo-er. Weird thing is I vaguely remember the Allard FMIC having a pipe going vertically off it and was wondering if this was to match up with the vertically pointing turbo? :confused:
