A PD130 engine, into my TDI... having "issues" now though, wishbone/subframe/outer hub issues.

However, the engine fits fine, although there's not a great deal of room between block and chassis at one point, but it shouldn't touch it due to the dogbone mount holding it.

FMIC arrives midweek, so looking forward to seeing that integrate with it all.

Edit: I'm in a nice big workshop with a handy two post lift.

Good luck with it, if it goes t*ts up you can always sell it on e-bay.

:orb_rocki Buy a Vrs it's Soooooooooooooooooo much easier!

I'm relishing the challenge at the moment. Forget easy, I'm after the unique. And after what I've done to my front bumper today, it'll look pretty unique from the front.

Lummox - there's a couple of other little things that can probably be treated as "oh well" - This is the fact there's some "extra" sensors that the vRS dash picks up - mainly thinking of the light out / door open ones. There might be more. There's a nice big fat sensor on the bottom of the sump too, not on my TDI one.

Of course!!!!!!!!! Unique!!! :easter:

I would have said that it might be something to do with the long-life oil sensor, but isn't the Fab vRS restricted to routine servicing?

Its an oil level sensor on the vRS.

For some people it also appears to be getting used as a 'sump not cracked' detector :(

Then they should join the GB on the sump guard :D

(I really want one, so if anyone else does, join the buy! and get us enough people)

Hi Mort, yep very true. Annoyingly the Furby and Octy wouldnt be compatible :(

I'm on the list too though, hoping we'll get the numbers up a bit more :)
