Drivers heated seat not working.

Featured Replies

Have a 1.9 TDI Elegance Fabia with front heated seats, however drivers seat is not working (passenger seat is fine)

Currently have it apart, tested all the wiring, as far as I can tell nothing wrong with the heating elements themselves (or the control box as far as I'm aware) so I'm wondering if it could be the thermistor?

I have posted a pic, was wondering if anyone knows what type it is or what else it might be?

Do you have 12v to the plug on the bottom? Earth good?

Yes, all the wiring going to the seat is fine

Then it's the heat mat at fault.

That's what I've said haha. The heating element itself is fine, but the thermistor (as pictured) might be at fault, so my question is, does anyone know the capacity or part number for it?

Thanks

There isn't a part number for it, it's not available on its own hence saying you need a mat.
