Help. Ive got an 8 valve 1.4 Fabia with, what looks like, pushrods and manual valve clearance adjusters-remember the old locking nuts?

Anyone know the recommended inlet/outlet clearances for these. I,ve measured them as they are and they seem to be very tight-less than .04mm and that's my thinnest gauge!

You dont measure them!

At the bottom of the pushrod there is a hydraulic lifter. Working on the old rule of 9 method (i.e if 1+2 are rocking adjust 7+8) undo the lock nut and wind the screw in until the play is taken up. Then wind the screw in a further 2 full turns and lock the nut up.
