Hi guys,

I checked my oil just after passing 5000 miles in my Fabia VRS and the oil was still on max. I have checked it again at 5800 and it's below minimum. I had it parked in the same place both times so know it's not a difference in angle.

I have just spent the past 30 minutes driving around in my girlfriends car to find some oil to put in. No one stocks anything 505.01 so had to buy some halfords 5w-40 as that was the closest match. I thought to myself that Any oil would be better then no oil, until I can get some proper stuff. Right thing to do?
