Front Bump Stops

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Done a quick search but anything bump stop related just comes up with rear ones...

Are the front bump stops worth replacing whilst I've got the suspension in bits?

Just finishing off ordering final suspension components for when I fit my coilovers. I've been looking to order some new bump stops for the front (already got new rear ones) but there seems to be a few different varieties. I can't see the ones currently on the car as they are under the dust covers.

I can see two types...

GSF website lists the top ones for a 1.8T but not vRS.

Any clues?

Ta :)

maybe there aren't any front bump stops.

There are, they just can't be seen as they are covered up.

When fitting coilovers you dont use the standard bump stops on the front

The coilover units come with their own bumpstops

My kw's had 2 or 3 iirc and you run 1 / 2 or 3 depending on the height you want to run
