Featured Replies

I assumed it mean it had bought it after the 3k of damage, but has now parted company with the car..

Maybe it was a large boulder in the road....

If anyone is looking for a metal sump guard have a look here

http://www.ebay.co.u...=item3f267a842a

I am not the seller by the way.

NO!

I just removed my OEM steel guard(exacly like the one on e-bay).

Is not designed for petrol engines wich are hotter than diesels. The engine runns hotter especially the 1.8T because will be no air circulation in the engine bay,the result is high engine temperature, cracked hoses, and believe it will burn more oil.

If you have a diesel there is no problem,if you have a petrol 1.8T it will hurt it slowly.

There are different part numbers for petrol and diesel engines. I have had one on my 4x4 turbo for ages now and no problems.
