This is for the original smic isn't it? Just need the bayonet couplings for intercooler?

For smic and it comes with the connection.

I'm assuming this will also be OK with an FMIC set-up?

It's for the original side mount intercooler.

Boo... nearly had another customer :(

My forge fmic uses the original plastic top boost pipe so in theory I could use this to replace it.

Exactly my thoughts Kieran I'm also running the Forge FMIC setup and I'm pretty sure we can run this pipe.

I've decided to use the cheaper option of the 70 degree stainless pipe and a silicone reducer elbow at the egr delete as shown in another thread.

For the BLT kit, does the kit come with a 2 male clip type connectors? 1 for the join near the headlight, and the other for the join to the ASV? I have an EGR delete, but it fits in in-between the ASV and inlet manifold doesn't it...?

I wanted to know this also Alex, but yes the BLT version comes with the two couplers needed like you mention one for the ASV end and one for the other end that goes down behind the drivers side headlamp. HTH

I think we will be struggling to get ten peeps together for this, hopefully I'm proved wrong lol.

You will need two couplings if you still have an EGR valve, the two kits Allard were offering are for Fabia's already with EGR deletes and people who want a boost pipe and EGR delete kit. I'm sure Allard could supply an extra coupling, the price will be putting people off so that's why there's not enough names.

Whether you have an EGR or not doesn't make a difference on the BLT, as the ASV is the first thing that this pipe comes into contact with, and that has the clip-in type connector. The EGR (or delete pipe) sits in-between the ASV and inlet manifold.

I have a Forge FMIC setup also, and really need to replace my top boost pipe, as the clips are worn. I need an idea on total price first though, including the 2 couplings.

Any news on this being supplied with 2 adaptors?

I've not been in touch with Allard, still only have half the names for a group buy.

  • 4 weeks later...

My pipe is for sale if anyone's interested.

My pipe is for sale if anyone's interested.

How much Kenny..... and why are you now selling it?!?

Change of plans with the car, £100 posted.

I've sorted out an alternative now so no longer interested in the group buy

I'm out of the group buy now as I have bought one.
