Seats/Floor plan - PastyBoy GIH!

Featured Replies

Right, so ive got some brand spanking new bucket seats to fit, however i need subframes, now i was just wondering if anyone knew if the fabia vRS floor plan is the same as a golf/polo or something similar as the company dont make skoda ones, which means they'd cost too much to get from the company they use, however, i could go to fabricators myself and get some made up, but as there is already Golf/Polo subframes ready made, i was wondering if anyone knew if its the same floor plan, or very similar.

Many thanks

Will

polo seats are same as fabia seats

Yes, go Polo.

So the floor plan on the skoda is the same as the floor plan on a polo right?

Never fear I am here.

Fabia/9n Polo/mk4 Ibiza all work on exactly the same floor plan.

The seats are all interchangeable between them and bucket subframes for one should bolt in another no problem.

I'd still check to see that the sub frames were returnable though. I'm sure it's a big chunk of money to pay for something that don't fit.

Golf is nothing like it and uses a T shape runner rather than the Fabia's 2 parallel runners

See hither

As you're gunna have to take the out eventually anyway why not just take your passenger seat out and give it to the fabricator with an instruction to make something the same?

Thanks very much mate, as i have a set of spare seats aswell that i could give to him, but id rather just have a proper subframe from a company, which hopefully i could return if it didnt work. But i could go to the fabricators, also im not paying for the subframes, so might aswell get them from the company :)

Just ensure if polo it is 9n not 6n. Polos from around the era of the early fabias were 6n, so it is quite easy to get them confused I reckon.

Yeah this one

So could either use mk4 Ibiza ones of 9n polo ones? What years are mk4 Ibiza 1993-onwards?

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

mk1 - 1984-1993

mk2 - 1993-1999

mk3 - 1999-2002

mk4 - 2002-2009
