Got a couple of oil questions. Would both of these oils (which sound the same to me) be OK to use in my engine.

Q8 Excel - 5W-40 (formerly super advanced 5w-40)

ACEA A3/B3/B4, API SL/CF BMW special oil, VW 500.00, 502.00, 505.00

MB 229.1 Meets the requirements of VW 505.01

OR

Q8 Motoroil 505.01 (note how the "badge" grade gets in the title...)

ACEA A3/B3 API SJ/CF VW 505.01, 500.00 & 505.00 (approved) MB 229.1

What does anyone reckon? Not really thought of using Q8 oils before but then if I can 25 litres of the stuff for about

The first one is listed as being suitabe in the FAQ below and the second one should also be suitable since it specifically lists 505 01.
