Hi all just a quick question I hadn't air con services and regassed at I know.....kwik fit they were the only place open yesterday and it still ain't working they did say they put dye in that shows up any leaks under uv light would a uv keyring show up any leaks as I do have one of these and any ideas what else it may be, when you switch it on the revs don't change

Have a look down the million other a/c not working threads. It can boil down to many things but without diagnosis or some facts and figures to go on its anyones guess. without the correct equipment and training you are kind of limited anyhow in what you can work out and/or repair. To get the UV dye to work you really need the yellow glasses to go with the light, give it a go, nothing to lose.

thanks I have read a few other threads but nothing really answered my question, ill have a look with the uv light just to see I'm being a bit tight with sending it in for diagnostics etc as I've just spent a four figure sum on gearbox dmf etc and don't have the spare cash
