2300 miles in 11 days.

Took the Ocky 2 to the Czech Republic and Vienna for my holiday. Drove to the Czech Republic in just over 24 hours including an overnight stop. Started in the west of the country and finished on the Polish border. Then on to Vienna. Drove back to the UK starting at 08:00 on day 1 and reached home at 12:15 on day 2 with an overnight stop.

The car behaved superbly on the Autobahns and Autoroutes. Effortless driving, no discomfort at all even when I spent over 10 hours at the wheel on the first day of the outward journey and well over 9 hours on day 1 of the return journey. Took breaks every couple of hours, even if only for 10 minutes or so.

My 1.9 TDI 105 cruised effortlessly at 100 mph on the Autobahn, I wound it up to 120 ish for a short run. Most of the time I was cruising at 80 mph or 73 mph (the national speed limits).

The state of some of the Czech Autoroutes left a lot to be desired, they were worse in some parts than our B roads. Other roads were excellent and the mountain routes were generally first class.

Even found time to take Ocky home. Photo with Skoda works in background here http://www.briskoda.net/forums/t31135-ke-went-home.html
