are there differences in components on the different engine coded engines? all are pd 130 engines so power should be the same but are there any benefits of any with a particular code?

BLT put out slightly more power (10/15bhp) standard, egr valve is a bit different but nothing apart from that as far as I know.

Blt uses a different egr setup (has a cooler) to meet euro 4 emissions, asz doesnt have this as it was only euro 3 emissions then!

There is no benefit to either engine, they both tune up exactly the same

I want to get a bit more power out of it as iv been used to driving my saab 1.9 tid for the last 3 years and the fabia is a fair bit slower so want to boost it a bit. I aaume a remap will get to around 160bhp? and an extra 30lbft? I was expecting it to be quicker then my saab being smaller but was very much let down so need some extra

Should get 165-170bhp and around 300lb/ft
