Today I pulled up at the lights everything fine! Lights changed I pull away and bam theirs a little pop and car completly died, and won't start :( it's sort of trying to fire but will just not go fuel is still getting to rail all obv stuff looked at and now am stood here scratching my head, anybody had this before. Cheers in advance

take the pipes off the turbo ... it has been known for turbos to collapse so the engine cannot breathe 

infact if you took the boost pipe off the egr right on top wouldnt that cut the turbo out so the engine breathes air in from the atmosphere?

Seen this before from turbo shaft snapped and blocked the exhaust side up took the oil cap off and it started straight up but exhausted through the oil cap

But dont take this as its definitely the cause could be many things this is just one example i have

The one that we did this on popped another 3 turbos after that... Haha

Anything like this the first place to check is always the turbo.

Awww crap :( time to ring darkside and buy turbo kit £££££££££££ loads of them :( il let you guys no what happens tomoz managed to get in the garage at 9pm fingers crossed & toes

buy the biggest turbo they do :D the water cooled 2260 lol
