As the title really. I was snooping round under my car the other day and wondered what this bit is. Is it a fuel cooler or something completely different? It was warm to touch, but not hot

something like that on my Fabia and don't know what it is :( The fins suggest cooling to me, so maybe heat exchanger for air-con?

I believe you are right, I think that is the fuel cooler.

It is a fuel cooler. Cools the fuel before retuning back to the tank.

Can confirm that it is a fuel cooler. Destroyed mine when I drove into a rockslide in a tunnel :/
