Firefox bookmarks

Featured Replies

Just started using Firefox which so far seems great.

However, in IE I had all my bookmarks in the order I wanted - which was all the subfolders at the top and not in alpha order, and then within each subfolder the most popular ones at the top.

Example:

Under Favourites, I had a subfolder called Motoring which was at the top of the list, ahead of things like Health, Fun, IT even though that wasn't alphabetical. Likewise, within the Motoring subfolder, I had Briskoda at the top, even though Alfa and Audi are alphabetically ahead.

Firefox help seems about as much use as a chocolate teapot and I've tried dragging them in the Manage Bookmarks window like I did in IE but it doesn't do what I want it to.

DOH! Having just typed all that, have spotted how to have manual control of the layout - choose unsorted and then you can drag & drop them wherever you like.

 - still, a handy tip there Cheeky
