Oil pick up pipe and breather hose.....Done!

Featured Replies

I decided today to get stuck in and replace my oil pick up pipe as read many horror stories about them clogging up. All went well, fairly easy job and the one that was in there was full of cr@p!

Breather hose from crankcase had seen better days as the picture shows!

Also the spark plugs, I replaced them. Was very interesting as the tips had gone in to a pointed shape, hard to see via the pic but the new ones, well they are nice and round with no spike to the end! Really enjoying my VRS, so glad I got it. Some pics of parts and work scene......You can tell I am in the building trade due to the tools I have, really need to get myself some proper car tools!

Edit.....It says pics are to big to upload :(

Exactly mate, just for that peace of mind and for £10,22p for the part and £4 for some gasket sealant and around 2 hours work I thought it had to be done!

I fully clayed my car the other day, then mopped it with G3 compound, then Autoglym polish, then Meg' wax to give that sheen look.....Took about 10 hours to do.  Still got engine bay and other little bits to do as they are a bit dirty for my liking!
