Hybrid turbo boost pressure, what should it be?

Featured Replies

Recently fitted a 2bar boost gauge but on full boost it goes past the 2 bar mark? Also got a horrid whistle noise on full load, recently changed the last of my intercooler pipes for alloy ones and left the under tray off for now (maybe that's making the noise more noticeable) so was wondering if its over boosting due to a leak? Ps it's a 150 hybrid

1.8 bar is what it should be

Bit high then

Depends on your turbo, I'd suggest asking the people that made it.

Yea good idea, going for a few adjustments on my map on Monday so will prob be given some advise there too

Usually

1.4 bar is stock

1.6 bar is mapped

1.8 bar is hybrid 150

My Cupra tdi turbo sounds the same as what your sayin so I'd say its fine but the boost pressure does sound a little to high

It's running just under 2 bar and apparently that's fine, also done a pressure test and no leaks, very confused as to what the noise is
