Calling Thule Roof Bar Users

Featured Replies

Has anyone used Thule Aero bars on an Octavia Estate? I have a pair of 120 cm long bars and wondered whether they would be the right length to fit an Octavia estate (2010)? I would be buying the Thule 757 feet. I do not particularly want to splash out on the feet if they are not going to fit. I have searched and searched on the web but there is no advice anywhere (that I can find) as to which length of Aero bars will work with the Octavia Estate. Possibly because the Aero bars are no longer sold by Thule. So if you have an Aero set-up on your Octavia I would be really glad to hear from you.

Thanks hugely in advance.

I have the Thule Aero bars on my Octavia estate, they are great...

Yep will fit, got the very same set up with our Scout. There is about a 3 inch overhang either side of the feet though. Easy for me to live with as same setup also fits our zafira

The Aero bars are named 860, 861, 862 and 863. There's also an 869 which slots in between 860 and 861 length-wise, I think.

The normal black square bars are still sold, and called 760, 761, 762, 763 etc. They have the same length.

I don't use Thule products personally but I've installed countless sets on customer cars. Thule is by far my favourite brand. Atera is cheaper but a royal pain in the proverbial to install.

Colleagues;

Brilliant. So the 120 cm bars will fit when using the 757 feet.

Glad to hear the Thule set up is well liked. I have a university run coming up for one of our daughters soon and want to be sure I can get everything in. Putting the top box on will ensure it.

Much appreciated.
