I know this has been discussed before but just looking for a little more detail.

I had my air con regassed this time last year and it has decided now to start hissing when i push the button and turn it on.

Is this because it is empty or is there anything else it could be? I dont think the ac fan comes on when i turn the ac on.

I read something about a brown connector that can come loose/break that may cause problems?

Hi if your ac fan isn't turning I would check that first as through the process of elimination I found out that was why I had no cold air and yes there is a brown connector that comes from the fan that the wire had snapped on, I also had another wire snapped underneath and both wires were very brittle, fixed that fan now works and so does air con.

Ok great thanks for that ill have a look during the week. Hopefully it will sort it! Too hot without it!

This may have really helped me, My aircon doesnt work and cant even notice it coming on in any way shape or form.

Did notice a load of wires right next to the bottom of the fan the other day when I was draining the radiator. Going to have a look at these tomorrow and hopefully get my air con working!
