just got myself a 2005 fabia VRS, more or less standard.. for now haha

So Far;

Serviced, discovered it already had a pipercross air filter in, so thats cleaned and ready to go back in... score!!,

new stumpy aerial on the back,

replaced both wing mirror glass as they'd delaminated and went funky

new rear wiper arm

new parcel shelf strings

still got a new stereo and amp to go in and some new tailor made floor mats to go in

Hi everyone, I’ve got a 2021 Superb S EL. Fantastic car, very comfortable. I’m thinking of ordering a new Superb Sportline. Has anyone driven both these trims and can tell me how to compare for comfort ? I recently tried an Octavia Sportline and it was too firm for me. Every bump was felt in contrast to my Superb. I’m hoping the Superb Sportline will be ok with the DCC in comfort mode but it does have large wheels. I realise I should really get another S EL but the Sportline looks nicer in

I have a 12 year old Skoda Octavia mk3 TSI 1.4 with 155000 miles on the clock. It has JUST scraped through its MOT after repeated emissions failures due to carbon buildup. The mechanic has told me he doesn't want to see the car back next year as it won't pass again and cleaning the carbon deposit off wouldn't be worth it given the age and value of the car. I've read a lot about Walnut Blasting to remove carbon buildup. Would it be worth it in my case or is the mechanic right, and I should just
