I have already extablished from reading previous posts that the Fabia TDI / vRS engines run about 1.5bar (22psi) at full boost.

Does anyone kno what sorts of pressures exist in the turbo when the car is at idle? Also, how long does it take the TDI engine to reach full boost?

(Thinking about a pikey IC spray mod :rolleyes: )

full boost? I would say no more than a second or a second and a half? Thats with a remapped PD100 though. Once booted, it doesn't take long for full acceleration to initiate. ;)
