Octy HU, in demand or shall I keep?

Featured Replies

I was thinking about putting my Octy VRS Head Unit and 6 disc multi changer on Ebay as I have an aftermarket HU.  Are they in demand or am I best off keeping it?

depends tbh, some people putting cars back to stock to sell might want them, also if theirs doesn't work. most of us have upgraded to newer units i suspect, ones that allow for digital format/connectivity.

the stock headunit, is next to useless imo.

:D pete gave me his and the changer for the postage lol

Never actually made it in but hey ho i made a friend lol

Just archive it bud

Well the stock unit I got off ebay for a £10 was better than chavy crap the person who owned my vrs before I did put in.

If you've got the code for it its worth anywhere between £10-30 on ebay(I was outbid a couple of times). If you haven't got the code its pritty worthless.

The amplification in the stock head unit compresses like crazy though. It runs out of steam and punch VERY early, and lacks detail. Also, the stock CD changer weighs about about 1/8 of the Clarion unit I have for mine, which says a lot about the transport quality and suspension. :D
