was thinking the other day where the cigarett lighter is, theres a perfect place for the start button to go and link the power outlet to a tv screen inder the air con unit!!! has any one thought about this mod to use it as a place for the start button! ?

Worth checking you insurance company would be happy with that too..... some are funny about it apparently......

This is something alot of the boys do over on the CTR seen, its easy to do and can be kinda cool!

I wouldnt have thort insurance would be an issue as you would still need to turn the key to the point before engine start!

If your interested in doint it I can look at the wiring for the CTR and mod it for the Fab?

Should be a matter of finding the two wires that are equivalent to clicking the key into the 'start' position (or whatever it's called) and then putting a switch in parallel to it.

Assuming you leave the rest of the wiring alone it ought not to impact on things too much, but I would definitely check insurance wise before doing it. Suppose they'd be interested in assurance the immobiliser would be kept untouched, which I would have thought it would

Almost there. Normally you put a relay in parallel, and use the start button to energise the relay.
