I'd been waiting for for the right motivation to post my first proper thread on your forum, and unfortunatly it's just come to me in the form of a rant! :mad:

I've recently bought a high mile Fabia 1.9 TDI pd Elegance - cheap I think, knowing it had a couple of bits and bobs which needed sorting out.

Top of the list was a noisy front wheel bearing, followed by a proper inspection service - the trader who sold me the car said he'd serviced it but I couldn't trust he'd used the correct pd oil.

Anyway, thought I'd have a look on the Skoda UK website for service price info and was pleasantly surprised to see the recommended pricing for this and a great many other jobs listed. These are based on a labour charge of

Give it a couple of weeks to see what happens and get the full picture. Then place a review of anything they done good and bad. It all helps each other out in the end.
