Do dealers have a database of services at other dealers?

 

i.e. you get a replacement book and you can track it back and get it all stamped again?

Don't know about other garages but of you give the reg to the dealer you know it has had work at, they will give you all the history from that garage.

As far as I'm aware it can be done from different dealers. I dont know if it is on a database or just they ring up the other dealer but my mates Octavia had no book so they had to get a replacement. Bit annoying, stamped "Duplicate"
