Bolero, internet connection?

Featured Replies

Hi, can anyone help me with this please? My L & K Octy has the bolero head unit fitted along with the Bluetooth and mdi kits. In my handbook there is a reference to connecting the bolero to the internet via the phone 3g if I understand it correctly, (which I probably don't) My thoughts are as follows, my phone connects via rsap and I'm very happy with that side of things. As rsap uses the phone sim it means that 3g isn't available when the phone is connected, now to the point of all this. There have been occasions when I wish to use the Google maps navigation on my android phone but cannot as the rsap holds the sim so to speak. My thinking is that if I have it correct and it is possible to use 3g through the head unit then I will no longer have to disconnect the Bluetooth to use Google maps. Clear?... no I didn't think so either but I'm nothing if not a trier ;-)

I don't think it's possible Ray!
