What are the problems in fitting them? Are the just longer?! Spring rates may be different due to weight difference but physically fitting them what would be the problem if any???????

Fronts wont fit.

Weights are totally different too.

i know the weights will be different but physically y wont the fit? what is different that means the wont fit? i know the top mount is different but this may be swapable at a guess, the bottom fits the same way pushing through the hub and using a pinch bolt so where does the non fit come from? are they too long? is the strut fatter then that of the fabia so wont fit in the hub? the drop link point in a different place?

 

 

i know people will say fabia needs fabia parts octavia needs octavia parts while this is true im trying to understand why you say they wont fit? have u tried or know its been tried? or just going by the fact the dont list them as fitting????

Give me a few days n ill find out lol I have some kwv3 for my last octy and my std fabia susp so can soon see.

Why ask tho when the weights are totally different?

Even if they fit the car will be a peice of **** to drive?

The shock will prob fit but the springs wont thats what it is. Top of the fabia spring is a bigger diam than the octy stuff. Will get the octy stuff out to be sure tho

Right the answer is yes you can fit them as i have done.

 

and no it dosent drive like a piece of ****, well the car in general does as i think its a rubbish car but the suspension being from the golf/ octavia fits and works perfect
