Say Hello Wave Goodbye

Featured Replies

:) The day has finally arrived . I am now off to Westover Skoda to pick up my shiney new Octavia II . Its been a long time coming but hopefully worth the wait. At last i can wave goodbye to my Picasso, maybe just with a slight tear in my eye , as after all its not me me too bad ,perhaps it will have an easier life now I've got rid of it , somebody who will treat it with respect and not a work hose.

Will post later to let you all know my 1st impressions and hopefully some piccies .Dave M I'm a fully paid up member of the Octy club now

Welcome. You will surely notice a huge improvement compared to the Picasso.

Said goodbye to my Audi A4 on Tuesday when I picked up my 2lt TDI l&K. (Ordered April arrived 1 week early!!!!)

Done 300 miles and only problem is I cant program the keys with the seat memory, but probably need to read the manual properly.

Hope yours is all OK, have attached some pics.

Noticed you've got the pegasus alloys. How does the sports suspension feel on the estate. I'm still trying to decide whether to add it to my order. I love the look of the alloys but i'm scared that the ride may be to to hard.

Has anyone NOT gone for the pegasus alloys and sports suspension?????????????

(mine's got it too :o )

Its a popular option, and most of our demos have it as they sell alot better if they have the kit on.

Smilo,

Any chance of some pics of the interior - info on trim is a little bit sparse at the moment - saw a L&K at Company Car show at Millbrook last week, but it wasn't actually a proper spec one (no electric seats/memory mirrors etc.) - it had carbon effect dash trim, is that same as yours?

Looking at getting a new L&K - but they are a lot more expensive than my current L&K was, esp. as you have to option the xenons, sunroof etc.

Cheers

John.

Here are some interior pics (would be more but ran out of batteries, also its raining and was getting wet).

As far as L&K spec it is a company car, I had an Audi A4 saloon needed an estate and although I could get the A4 Avant it was only the basic and I wanted the creature comforts, so did not look at it as I would a private buy.

On the carbon stuff these are the inserts and looks ok to me. Electric seat is on driver

Yes see page 1 of thread

Looks very familiar smilo :D

Shame they don't trim the centre console around the heater controls etc with the silvery carbon look trim as used by the glovebox etc, if that makes sence. Maybe they will on the new vRS, if so it should be available as a spare part :D

Darren

I have always thought Skoda leather seats look very nice
