Grinding noise

Featured Replies

I'm replacing my bottom arm bushes this week and hope it cures the problem i have.

When i let off the throttle (at slow speeds mainly,) there's a very noticeable grinding noise that you can hear coming from the drivers side wheel area and there are little shavings off metal on the inside of my wheel but cannot find where its coming from! The bushes are knackered both sides so i'd of though it would do the same on the other side too but it hasn't?

i run adapters on my wheels but everything definitely clears.

Any help will be appreciated :)

is it lowered? do driveshafts clear everything ok?

Yeah it's lowered but i've had the car a good while now and no problems so far other than the bushes that need replacing. Everything clears fine

Have you checked you brake pads at all, also are your discs badly lipped which could cause possible grinding. Possible wheel bearing?

discs and pads aren't too old. might change the wheel bearing too just to see haha winding me up!
