Recently been hearing some hissing noises under full load,did a boost leak check all fine,and the past few days seems worse and when I let my foot off the gas at about 2500-3500 I get a really loud wastegate sort of flutter,its so loud people look around,took turbo off this morning with no obvious issues (its a hybrid 150 about 12 months old) am stumped as to what it is but don't want this turbo to fail like the last one so any help would be great

Mine did this for a few weeks which sounded great but worried me as it just started doing it then one day no boost. Turns out it was the wiring to the map sensor. Quite common on these, sorted the wiring got boost back and no noise

Did it break or did you replace all of it?

The wiring rubs through on the chassis so to avoid it happening again I extended the wires as one had broken completely. Bumper and drivers headlight out and just unwrap the map sensor wiring and you should see a break hopefully. Mine had been soldered by a previous owner but not extended

Hope it is that mate. Just follow the wires from the map sensor (on the top of the intercooler if you don't know) and hopefully you'll see some sort of break.
