Hi I wonder if anyone can help? I've just bought a 52 plate octavia and have found that it never has the engine management light show at all, even on ignition when other dash lights are shown. I've had the led checked and that itself works but still not showing on dash. It recently had a fault code showing on diagnostics that should have triggered this light but still didn't come on. The fault is now fixed but I'd like to get to the bottom of why this light doesn't come on when it should. Anyone else had this issue? Is there a way it could have been made to not light up on dash? Thanks

Hi the LED has been tested and works, just doesn't show on instrument panel

Not a bit of tape stuck on the underside of the dial face to stop the light showing through by a previous owner/seller? seen that before...............
