Featured Replies

did a search and couldn't find much

wanting a boost gauge in my fabia for when I get my new turbo, ive been looking at the Prosport ones

now I know how a mechanical one works, but how would this one get a boost reading, is it still just a vac tube like a mechanical one?

Yeah they still use a tube from the top boost hose into a small sensor unit. The sensor unit reads the boost pressure and transmits a signal to the gauge to display. Basically the same as an electric boost gauge.

Ahhhh. Sounds good to me then, thanks mate :)

I wanted a prosport gauge but couldn't bring myself to pay £60 for one! Where are you going green to mount it?

Thinking of getting a swivel pod and mounting below the heater controls out the way but in sight, if that makes sense lol

Same as mine then. My pod is carbon fibre look and now I've got the vents and gear surround and ashtray wrapped in carbon fibre it looks good together. Will have to update a pic of it like that

Great minds think alike aha. Couldnt think of a better place tbh. Domt want dash mounted, i love the drawer under my radio and they dont make a pillar pod!

If the vent holders weren't stupid money I'd of done that but think the gauge and holder was £22 off ebay. Mine fluttered ever so bad and buzzed, had to get a in line fuel filter and some cotton wool in the piping to the gauge and a few cable ties clamping it too. Don't know if the one your looking at will flutter as it's not got a needle

I like my vents unfortunately lol the pillar mount was what I originally wanted. but this will have to do until I can fabricate one. theyre only like 8 quid or something off the bay so don't mind
