has anyone used race camshaft on there fabia ? stated 15-20bhp gains ? realistic ? 

 

im running stage 2 hybrid, currently at 240bhp, but cam has gone so needs replacing anyhow, wondering if this is worth while getting ?  20 more ponies could make it a bit more interesting to play with

Speak to them would be my advice. 

 

Race cams on pd engines are for big power builds where higher rev limits are used AFAIK.

I have the Dbilas camshaft which I think is what they are selling (happy to be confirmed wrong of course).  Not too sure, and I don't know the difference it makes.  Helps the top end a bit I think.

I have the Darkside cam. Not sure on make, but at 230bhp it doesnt feel any different. Apparently its only when you go for big power they become more noticeable (ie. Devonutopia!)

I have the Darkside cam in my pd mk2 golf. I went from 262hp and 380lbft up to 283hp and 415lbft if that helps
