Hi all.  Loving my first Octavia vRS......

 

Have brought one of the total closure mods off ebay and wondering if anyone has already done the mod and knew the wiring colours to save me some probing.....

 

If not, ill post my findings when I get chance.

You can activate total window and sunroof closure without having to buy anything. You just need a friendly Brisky member with the correct software to do it.

Did mine easy

 

Only issue is,  you need to hold down key till windows fully open or close, which i have come a cropper few times now when walking away and going out of range...

 

2nd time left windows open all night and it chucked it down with rain....      

I thought this was standard all my VRS mk1, MK2 and MK2 FL have all done the windows etc with a long press on the keyfob. I thought it was common throughout the VW group. Either way pal don't go fitting anything you have bought of ebay probably chinese tat that will set fire to your vehicle. As said earlier take a look in the VCDS list for someone close to you im sure they will take a look at it for you and enable it if its not working.
