Any ideas on this one?

Featured Replies

Hello all,

I went to get something out of the car last night only to find that every single window was wound down completely but the doors were still locked. I have no idea what happened. Is it possible that the alarm went off and it's a consequence of that? Last time I locked the car all the windows were up. Perhaps someone has had this occurance.

Holding the unlock button on the key fob when within range of the car will lower all the windows and unlock the car.

As the car wasn't touched (no doors opened) the doors will auto lock after 30 seconds.

This can happen with the key in a pocket / bag and something pressing on it.

Just one possibility...

As above, KBP has said what I was thinking.

Thank you very much - I didn't know that could happen. This must be the shortest thread ever on the Octavia forum! Case closed.

Happened to lots of us.

always weird

If you know someone with VCDS (Vag-com) it can be turned off

Don't know what that is to be honest! I'll have to check on the forum or somewhere Skoda related.
