Deposit paid on GLII

Featured Replies

Hi all,

New here but just put a deposit down on a GLII and should collect her on Tuesday. I came very close to buying a new one when they were launched but stuck with banger omits for a few more years. Really looking forward to the mpg challenge (have got 74 out of my 406 last summer) and overall cheap running costs.

The car is only two years old, 29,000miles and has recently been serviced. The list of bits at the moment are a mdi lead, dog guard, load space protector and centre armrest. Any guidance on that lot? I am also considering a spare set of winter wheels.

Anyhow, really excited...will help offset my wife's car!

Was about to go to the auctions on Tuesday and buy a 170bhp passat with leather, dsg and sat nav or 1.6 bluemotion...failing that go up and buy a 140bhp dsg highline plus. Shame as was looking forward to a little creature comfort but this deal is a complete no brainer....just seen the servicing costs from the main dealer. So cheap I may be tempted!

Well there is the story and I look forward to the advice from here over the next few years!

Kind regards,

Ed
