What have I gone and done?

I have a Bolero and a Blackberry Curve. The voice activation now requires the last name first and the first name last. Why? Can it be changed back? It is possible, but no longer intuitive, to say Call Jones John, when I used to be able to say Call John Jones.

I've just fitted the Premium BT kit and also notice that the phone book displays as last name first, even though the phone itself displays first name last name.

 

I too would like to be able to change way it's displayed on the Columbus screen.

I'm sure theres an option on the maxidot to change the display order something like PHONE->SETTINGS.

 

Have you tried changing that?

There is definitely a way to do it but that may require VCDS.

My BT shows the option and I can change it with VCDS (I don't have Maxidot) but it makes no difference as the module/HU/car combination won't support it.

It's not always possible to activate every option a module shows as being available.

Have you tried resetting the HU after configuring VCDS or maybe un-pairing/re-pairing to kick it back to how it should be?
