Whats the best size wheel for the VRS?

Featured Replies

so i'm looking at slightly bigger wheels as the 16s look lost / the car looks underwheeled and it irritates me a bit , that and i'll be fitting coilies this weekend and would like get the car looking good before i start messing with the engine etc

i was considering 17" octy spiders, as i like the look of the wheel, and the extra inch makes a difference (thats what they all say :P)

what do 18's look like on fabias though? something like an RS6 wheel or fat 5s?

could you lovely people post up some piccies of 17s / 18s on fabias so i can have a gander, preferably side on :)

Thanks

Chris

18s look daft. Just about get away with 17's if lowered.

16 best for comfort and look better when lowered..

Unless you want a trailer queen, lower a bit on 6.5 or 7 by 16 or 17s.

I've just fitted spiders to mine and it looks loads better

16's look best overall

17's can look just as good if you're lowered on coilovers

18's look way too big, i don't think you will be able to lower enough to pull them off, would probably have to get really really really low profile tyres, etc

Sorry for stealing pics but these are both 18's:

Holy moley those 18s don't look good

The Rota's look good and that colour stands out, only if they were smaller
