Can anybody confirm that the tyres used on the vRS ((7.5Jx18" 225/40 R18 92Y) SUK web site) are the same size as the ones used on my Superb 2 elegance.

Reason have ordered a new vRS estate and the front tyres on my superb don't look like they will last out the new car wait.

If they are the same size my way of thinking is to have 2 new tyres fitted to my car and then when the new car arrives put the original ones back, then that gives me 2 relatively new tyres to fit on the new car when required.

Just swap your front wheels to the back, that way they should last. That's what I'm doing.
