fun wing trim removal

Featured Replies

I'me about to buy and paint a new nearside wing for my Felicia fun, and here we go..... Has anyone successfully removed the plastic trim from a wheel arch? I've heard that they are a bitch to get off, what works guitar strings? I need to replace the strings on me ole Gibson anyway, or just bash them off I've heard that this part is unavailable, so if it wont come off, and you cant get em what's my next option sorry to be a pest! john.

Hi John :)

The wing will get fairly buggered when you remove it anyway, so why not cut it (possibly with something like a Dremmel) from "inside" the wing to remove as much as possible. Then you'll have a smaller and easier to handle section to remove the remaining wing. So effectively you'll be removing the wing from the trim (if that makes sense)

How much work does the truck need in total?

You could well see mine in Whitstable over the next few weeks as it's basically back on the road now :) :)
