have just got a toyo sport fmic and 3 inch sports cat had the sports cat fitted already and can definately notice better torque in the mid rev range as i have stage 1 rtech already but the question i have is has anybody fitted one of the standard size toyo fmic not a wellycooler but one of the smaller ones got it for a good price are there any problems i am going to encounter when i come to fit this is it going to be a straight forward swap as my mate is very good with cars but i am just trying to guage if its worth us having a crack at it or whether to take to garge and get fitted thanks for all your help guys is much appreciated

I had one fitted to my Octavia

Had to make a couple of brackets to secure and cut a bit of plastic about at the back of the bumper to squeeze the pipework in but it wasn't too difficult.

thier some weird looking ramps man got any pics? :giggle:

WRC style ramps. Very useful for getting low cars high enough to get a jack under. They're my Dad's and he wouldn't let me take them with me when I moved out. :(

yeah thats the exact one i have am quite lucky as its already built as it came off a vrs that had rear end shunt

 

do u have an idea exactly how long this took u to fit

 

did u see any benefit

 

i see you had a forge pipe on there somewhere is there anything else im going to need before i fit as i had my whole breather system replaced about 18 months ago

 

sorry for all the questions just trying to guage what problems we may have before we start

 

also forgot will my compbrake dumpvalve be ok and my ebay cold air induction thanks guys

I think it took me about 1/2 a day or so to do, can't remember exactly, was a good few years ago now.

 

I had a forge intercooler to throttle body hose which I trimmed to fit the new pipework. It was part of this kit

Also, you will need this map sensor mounting pipe if you haven't got one already.

after i get the map sensor tube will that attach direct to existing standard pipework or do i need a silicone hose as dont have this already and want to make sure i have all parts before i take car to bits

does anyone no what size it is u need aswell as u have 60mm and 63mm 110mm and 240mm all help is much apreciated so i dont order wrong one cheers guys

Yes that's a map sensor fitment on the pipe.

Some of these advertised on ebay state they already have the map sensor hole drilled etc..
