Window deflectors?

Featured Replies

Yep, Heko ones are fantastic, got them on my Fabia.

It might just be me, but I've always found them a bit... "granddadish".

Never fitted them but I have been in a few cars with them fitted as a passenger and very handy going down motorway at speed and have some ventilation without all the wind blast/noise.

Yes; the 5 door version has much, much shorter front doors compared to the 3 door car.

I try and preserve 'new car smell' for as long as possible, so never open windows unless I can help it. :)

At 45... I'm heading that way (grandad-ish)

Without being too jokey about it, I remember when these were really all the rage, back in the era of CB radio etc. Are they making a comeback, or just always popular?

Next we will be fitting black louvered grilles on a rear screen

Like on fords back in the day

Think those in the know, on how useful they are, have always fitted them.

I remember fitting my "XR2" red stripe decals to my back window glass and thinking how cool it was and painting the tyre letters, with special tyre paint pens!

I miss my pepperpot alloys XR2 style.

I had pepperpots with pirelli 185/65/14 P6000's on (I think), only got 3k miles before my fronts were gone :( racing around German autobahns!

Never did have window deflectors though, they were not cool ;)

That must've been clogging it - the XR2 was no tyre shredder lol.
